Intern for WWF’s Data & AI Team
WWF Sweden is seeking an intern to join its newly formed Data & AI team during the spring semester. The team’s purpose is to support the organization’s digital transformation by guiding towards a data-driven approach and implementing AI tools for both increased efficiency and enhanced nature conservation benefits. During the internship, the intern will work on developing new technical solutions, implementing digital tools, and contributing to establishing new working methods, including personnel training, developing policy documents, data strategy, and risk analyses. The intern will be part of a team dedicated to using new technical possibilities responsibly.
This internship position is based at WWF Sweden’s offices in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden, located at Ulriksdals Slott. Hybrid work opportunities are available, allowing for flexibility to work from both the office and home up to fifty percent of the time each week.
Key qualifications:
- Technical competence with experience in digital development/programming or agentic AI.
- Experience or interest in learning about security, risk analysis, and governance related to AI.
- Experience or interest in learning about organizational data management.
- Experience or interest in learning about open source.
- An interest in sustainability and environmental issues.
- Currently studying a relevant university or college program.
- Must be enrolled in a 30hp internship course, LiA (vocational college), or have work practice approved by Arbetsförmedlingen (Swedish Public Employment Service).
