AICC-2 schedule is now out!
We are happy to announce the full program for the 2nd Workshop on AI for Climate and Conservation (AICC-2) at ECCV 2026!
The workshop, a full-day event on Sept 9th, will bring together researchers working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, climate science, ecology, conservation, Earth observation, and environmental monitoring. The program features a diverse set of keynote talks, contributed research presentations, a panel discussion, and a poster session designed to foster scientific exchange and collaboration.
Highlights of the program include keynote presentations covering topics such as:
- UAV-based environmental monitoring and AI for ecological applications
- Reliable AI for understanding environmental change in the Arctic
- Earth observation, geospatial foundation models, and large-scale environmental monitoring
- The role of AI in advancing nature conservation beyond model performance alone
The workshop will also feature contributed oral presentations on a wide range of emerging topics, including:
- Climate physics and weather-related machine learning
- Precipitation forecasting with neural differential equation models
- Interpretable AI for wildfire forecasting
- Remote sensing change detection and reasoning
- Flood-impact prediction in urban environments
- Self-supervised and predictive representation learning for Earth observation data
In addition to the scientific presentations, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a panel discussion with invited speakers, exchange ideas during networking breaks, and present their latest work during the poster session.
